Waterfront is the touristic harbour of Cape Town. Here you can see the big sea cruisers as well as the yachts of the proms. Beautifully created with restaurants, pubs, souvenir- and craftshops. The Alfred and Victoria Mall with plenty of brand shops invites you to shop and enjoy. Street performer and street musicians are seen on some places there.
A ride with the Big Wheel shows you the variety of the Waterfront area. Craftshops are on site the whole year. You can buy African craft and also township craft there.
From Waterfront lots of tours are starting. Cage diving with sharks for example. Or do you want to book a helicopter flight over the Cape Town area? This is possible also. A ride with one of the Hop-On-Hop-Off-Busses brings you to all landmarks in and around Cape Town with explanations in several languages. A ride to Robben Island is possible from Waterfront, too.
